In this case, we had to manually open the gates to get in an out, and being right in the actual bush came with all the additions of monkeys, hippos — who wandered gloriously into the gardens to munch on the fresh grass whenever the gates had been carelessly left open, the odd groups of zebra and buck and definitely — snakes and spiders by the droves! (Not for the faint-hearted sorry!). Every now and then outside the fences, we’d see a leopard, lion …
