We're not at that stage (yet). AI still offers rubbish when used to create pretend human stories. But I know what you mean! It has surpassed some writers and will improve.

How we use it now will make or break the future of human writing. It's an assistant. But if used to do the complete job, we lose a skill and adopt something as yet unknown.
