The flower tempts the hummingbird, yet, her winsome ways offer gems in return. “But why must I labor so,” said the bird, “while the flower does nothing but nod in the breeze?”
“It’s your misfortune,” answered the sky, “if you don’t recognize the blessings at your beak. When you fail to note the nectar that trickles down your throat, choosing only to see the toil involved in gathering your food, you miss the sweetest nourishment of all.”
