When you feel small
There are times we note we are small and the world, and the universe, is very large.
We liken ourselves to a grain of sand in a desert, and the notion of insignificance washes over us and grows heavy in our hearts.
Perhaps our minds travel into space, visiting the cosmos a moment, looking for signs of vastness to confirm how tiny we are.
Then, if we let the wise voice inside us rise and speak, we liken ourselves to a drop of rain in a river, or a wave on the ocean, and we know we are part of something greater than we usually perceive; a fragment of a powerful collective.
