Frankenquotes: A Challenge
Meshing famous quotes
Thank you Elle Rogers, for the Frankenquote tag. The idea of the game is to mesh two famous quotes by different people together in a unique way, (no more than x 4 or less than x two per article) with no mention of who wrote them originally.
Here are my offerings.
“Curse ruthless time! Curse our mortality. How cruelly short is the allotted span for all we must cram into it! There ought to be a room in every house to swear in.”
“Your work is to discover your work and then with all your heart to give yourself to it. Good things aren’t supposed to just fall into your lap.”
”It’s not what you give, it’s the way you give it. I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.”
Here’s Elle’s offerings:
And the original instructions:
I nominate Roz Warren, Chris Hedges, Suzanne V. Tanner, and Jesse Wilson (but only if you wish to join in the fun).
