As always an interesting response! We aren’t built to be happy all of the time, and we do learn during times of upheaval and often during despair. So, maybe not being happy is, at times, part of the greater plan!
Rather than believing we attract our own outcomes entirely, I think we can learn to master our emotions to a higher degree than many do. We can’t change other people, but we can work on self-development.
If you are depressed, it’s clear you can’t snap out of it. What terrible advice that would be! Occasions when you are down, though, are ripe for TLC. Self-kindness, forgiveness, and acceptance that whatever your mental state, you are valuable won’t go amiss.
We don’t know what the universe is up to, and can only guess it must have something to do with a higher purpose. 👍
